btfta logoThought Field Therapy (TFT) is a simple and straightforward technique for resolving emotional and psychological issues. It (TFT) utilizes acupressure points which the client activates by simply tapping them with the fingertips while thinking about the specific problem.

This process has the capability of disabling and often completely eliminating troublesome emotional and physical responses.

There is no relationship or similarity between Hypnosis and TFT. With TFT, belief is NOT necessary for the therapy to work. TFT has repeatedly surprised dubious skeptics who did not "believe in" TFT. These former skeptics found that TFT worked without their personal belief in it - - just as antibiotics do not depend upon the belief of the person taking them in order to be effective. With TFT, belief does not enter into the process.

nlp headsThe building of a strong and open relationship between the therapist and the client is crucial in NLP, as in most other therapies. The client needs to be treated with respect, with the therapist coming from a position of curiosity and open-mindedness.

The therapist’s role is to guide the client, to explore and understand the deeper structure of the problem and the benefits that change has to offer.

hynpo societyHypnotherapy is widely used in a variety of different fields including medicine and childbirth, dentistry, education, law enforcement and professional sports, and the beneficial use of hypnosis in the treatment of both nicotine addiction and obesity is well documented. A survey in 2004 in The Times Newspaper quoted hypnotherapy as being one of the most successful methods available in the treatment of smoking addiction.

Hypnotherapy involves addressing the subconscious mind while a person is in a relaxed state, and this is why it can be so quick and easy to change habits of a lifetime in just a few sessions.
